Current job vacancies at Paradise Valley Springs Wildlife Park in Rotorua.

We currently have a casual customer service vacancy available.  This would suit a student or someone who is available for weekend and school holiday work.

The main duties involved in this role are:

• Customer service at our reception.
• Displaying and pricing items in our gift shop.
• Serving in our snack cafe.
• Lots of cleaning.
• Outdoor duties (cleaning, raking, weeding, using leaf blowers, preparing animal food etc). You will need to be fairly confident around animals and birds.
• Keeping our park clean by clearing rubbish, cleaning animal enclosures/paddocks, cleaning public toilets as and when required etc.

No specific qualifications or experience is required as comprehensive on the job training will be given. We are known for our great customer service and you will require a positive attitude and a genuinely friendly manner to be considered.

The normal working hours for this weekend/holiday position are 8am to 5pm with some 7am starts.

We place high emphasis on health and safety in the workplace, and successful candidates will need to comply with random drug and alcohol testing.
