Paradise Valley Springs is a family owned and operated New Zealand Bird, Trout and Wildlife Park located just 12 minutes from Rotorua's CBD.

The park is open every day of the year, including all public holidays, from 8.00am until dark with last ticket sales/entry to the park at 5.00pm.

Admission is valid for all day, all inclusive access to our entire park as well as seeing our Lion Pride and their exciting feeding at 2.30pm, and Kea & Possum Feeding at 3.00pm.

The park is set in a beautiful native bush covered setting, and has excellent wide walkways throughout that are well suited for strollers and wheelchairs.  We have bags of food for the Trout or Animals available for purchase at reception.  We also have umbrellas and strollers available for hire.

Your time in Paradise will include seeing wild Trout in the Ngongotaha Stream, along with pools of Rainbow and Brown Trout, and the opportunity to view them at eye level in our Under Water Viewing Cave.  Interact with New Zealand’s Wild Animals along the way - Deer, Pigs, Thar, Wallabies and Oppossums.  Meet our friendly farm animals in our Streamside Farmwalk - Alpacas, Goats and Sheep, many who can be handfed.  Enjoy our Wetlands area, home to many types of Ducks and other water fowl.  View New Zealand's native parrot the cheeky Kea and Kakariki birds also.  Take a drink straight from Te Waireka, our natural freshwater spring.  Plus experience our elevated Rainforest Treetops Walkway, hidden six metres high amongst mature native trees and bush.  The ‘Pride of Paradise’ - our pride of Lions can be seen all day in their enclosure, which allows you to get very close to these formidable animals.
