SERVICES & FACILITIES

ACCESSIBILITY

Our flat pathways are suitable for pushchairs and wheelchairs.  The only part accessible solely by stairs is our elevated treetops walkway.  The entry and exit of the treetops circuit are close by for anyone who cannot complete this part to wait for others in their party, and for those who would prefer to leave their pushchair etc at the base of the stairs.

HIREAGE

We have wheelchairs for use free of charge.  Pushchairs and umbrellas may be hired at $2 each.

WEATHER

The wooden and cobblestone pathways are suitable for all weather conditions.  Several shelters are spread throughout the park, and our native trees provide some protection from sun and rain.  Umbrellas are available to hire.  Our animals are able to be seen during all types of weather.

CAFE & GIFTS

Our cafe and gift shop is situated inside a traditional wooden colonial style building, blending into the natural surrounds of our wildlife park.

SNACK CAFE

The Snack Cafe at Paradise Valley Springs is the perfect place to take a break while exploring our wildlife park.  You can select from a range of snacks; sandwiches, pies, muffins and icecreams, along with coffee and cold drinks.

We have large outdoor tables at the front of reception, as well as two grassed areas inside our park next to our kea aviary or lion enclosure if you wish to take your food outside, or even bring a picnic.

Quench your thirst with some Paradise Pure bottled water, or stock up for later.

GIFT SHOP

At Paradise Valley Springs you will find a selection of gifts such as New Zealand souvenirs, skin care products, animal themed toys, puzzles, children's dress ups, and Paradise branded mementos.

SCHOOLS & CHILDREN'S GROUPS

Paradise Valley Springs provides a great hands on experience with friendly animals for children of any age, all in a safe and clean environment.

WHEN CAN WE VISIT?

The park is available any day of the year for you to visit.

HOW LONG SHOULD WE ALLOW?

Most groups allow for around two hours at our park.

ARE THERE LIMITS ON GROUP SIZES?

There are no restrictions on group numbers and the park is large enough to hold many people at one time.

We require (at the minimum) one adult for every seven children.  A much higher ratio of adults to children is strongly recommended when accompanying young children, as per your policy.
